I'm glad to know that I wasn't totally misinformed in thinking that the risks from oral sex were significantly lower though, as I said, NOT zero.
It would be interesting to hear more views and see more votes. Oh, and if someone could sort out the other options then I would be really grateful as I suspect that for many people this may not be a 'yes' or 'no' issue but is rather more spectral.

There are no hard and fast rules for me as it depends on the person and whether we click. I suppose I tend to get on best with people in their 30s to 50s - but that is purely a generalisation. For me sexual attraction starts with the brain. If I really like someone then whether they are older or younger than me is largely irrelevant and actually becomes 'invisible'.

- A very short reply on receipt of the response. Even if they don't meet your criteria I think it's nice to say "Thanks for your interest but you're not quite what we're looking for.", or something simlar.
I reply to very few ads. Partly because I will only reply if I think I match the requirements (if I'm a borderline match then I say so in my response) and partly because I don't want to have dozens of responses on the go and get myself all confused :crazy:. I'm always a little disappointed if I hear nothing at all because then I don't know whether there is a possible meet on the cards or not
. I'd much rather have a polite 'no' than silence.
- Your ad makes it clear that there will be a shortlist and that it will take some time to organise, so anyone who is expecting an immediate meet or a quick decision on who the lucky man is hasn't been paying attention.

Mmmmm, the hot weather definitely makes me horny - not that it takes much at the best of times!
It also makes me want to take a book and a bottle into the garden and lose myself for a couple of hours, or get some friends round with some chilled white or rose or mega jugs of Pimms and chatting and laughing about anything and everything. Not surprisingly, most people opted for protected sex except with their partner or (in some cases) people they knew extremely well.
I thought it was worth a similar poll on the subject of oral sex.
Personally, I would save unprotected penetrative sex for Sappho only, but I would be perfectly happy to have unprotected oral sex, though I would, of course, 'cover up' if that was the lady's preference.
I realise that the health risks from oral sex are not zero but I believe that they are very low (unless someone can tell me different).
