In this case we do not know what happened. If it comes down to 12 good men, I do not envy them their job!
Travis

Sadly, the '12 good men' are likely to reflect society's prejudices. A friend of mine was allocated a case when she did her jury service - a case where someone had accepted a lift home after a nightclub from someone she knew and where it was her word against his what happened. Whatever the evidence (and my friend admitted there wasn't enough 'proof' to confidently convict him) she was shocked by the other jurors' attitudes about the woman and the comments dismissing her evidence - 'well, if she was out on her own/in those clothes/drunk/etc' she was 'asking for it'.

Hehehehe , sitting here giggling cos of a similar experience we had in Rome at Christmas just gone. We walked around the vatican museum with a particularly loud and unpleasant group of Older Americans on a tour that they paid no attention to, and constantly complained and whined. When we got outside one of the gentlemen in their group asked me to take a photo of him and his wife in front of StPeters before they got on their coach (presumably off to another whirlwind tour to ignore great works of art). I smiled and said of course, then proceeded to zoom in and take an extreme close up of his big huge wifes crimplene trousered cameltoe. They thanked me and left.

Is there an emoticon for 'splutters morning coffee over keyboard'? Thankyou for making my day start with a giggle! Well done

I suppose it is whatever feels right... but I'm more likely to want "rough" than "smooth."
I associate smooth with intimate, meaningful sex... I associate rough with purely physical, 'meet' sex. I usually want the latter with a relatively anonymous person I have met on a site like this.
Smooth sex has its place - namely in the morning or after a good rough session
And I would only get really rough (i.e. more BDSM stylee) with someone I trusted implicitly. There aren't many who fit that bill, so it doesn't happen often. Great when it does though!

What she said.
My WLTM list's sooo long - too many glimpses of lovely and interesting people on here. Can't wait till Wigan to meet a few, at least.
Who I WOULD like to meet (or see from a distance) is some of the weirder profile-less cam-wankers who whisper or communicate in grunts. Just to see if they actually seem vaguely normal in real life. And to find out if they ever get any results from their efforts. Most intriguing

However, I would be more flattered by a compliment from someone of the same sex than from someone of the opposite sex, and Im not sure why confused

Maybe because the compliment from the same sex may be more genuine and not just something made up to get into your knickers?
depends who is complimenting her
Very true!
Delightfully distracting new avatar by the way. Has Res complained about the lack of artex yet?

I'm often accosted and asked to take pics and I like doing it. I must have 'former tour guide' vibes still coming off me! Mind you, people seem to approach me for directions a lot too - maybe we're just smily and approachable peeps!
Rarely get others to take pics for me though.
I enjoy giving and receiving attention to/from everyone, male or female! And I often give compliments (not come-ons, just compliments)to complete strangers in the street if it seems right, which sometimes throws people a bit. Trouble is, if I really DO fancy someone I'm completely rubbish at flirting, or accepting compliments, and turn into a gauche fourteen year old.

latest update..............
Went into work friday the 13th and was given my redundancy letter rolleyes
Not wanting to bore folks with the pathetic reasons lol
I left work at 1pm with a nice redundancy package, went for a job interview at 4pm and got the job at 5pm biggrin
dee

Superb result!!! Congratulations! On standing up to bullies AND the new job. And the redundancy package bonus. Well done!
How are us singlies going to keep up the bah-humbug-hate-all-that-mushy-stuff 'front' with comments like that, Lost? You've got me feeling all sentimental. You lucky couple!
This is fun! If a tad scary. Don't try it with a photo where you're wearing glasses though. I might load my Botticelli later once the paint's dry

Got our first new pussy cat tonight biggrin I cannot have the little 14 week old kitten that suffered terribly at the hands of his previous owner as yet as sadly some of his wounds are infected sad The vet has said that he wants him in A1 condition before he can be suitably re-homed and so we have to wait awhile but we don't mind waiting smile So we brought home a gorgeous pure white, short haired male from the rescue centre in Blackpool this evening. He has beautiful green eyes and little pink ears and a pink nose :D We will need to put sunblock on him if he ever goes out in the sun, bless. He is 7 years of age and his previous owners never let him into the house :( He is currently snuggled up under my bed :D

Awwwww... Lucky new puddy tats.
I'm feeling cold and grumpy and overworked. But then I remember the naughty texts and spontaneous visit of this morning and feel all tingly again... (is tingly a mood?)
Condolences Sassy - anyone who nurses deserves huge respect yet you often get forgotten when the emotional times come. Hugs.
I'm guessing if we're in bold we're confirmed. I'm not in bold but I'm definitely coming. Looking forward to my first munch!

had mine done at 27 and had a unsuccessful reversal at 35,now that was a painful recovery lol

Friend of mine's just had a reversal courtesy of Doctor Payne. Apt name, apparently, so I really hope it's worth it for them.
Mrs B - you are mean and evil. Nobody wants to know what goes on behind the cool calm considerate front in hospitals - oh no we don't!!

The strip tease

Thankyou for those clips! Was having a glum evening and I'm now all smily again! Must go rummage the DVD out of the vaults.

At the edge of a walkway through a field last summer. Just as Kez said to me in the heat of the moment “shoot it on my tits” some guy walked past with his dog. He was obviously a gentleman and just stared ahead and kept walking as his dog sniffed my arse. lol

Making me cry with laughter!!!
If he'd been more of a gentleman, he would've offered to help out...

we got 7 inches overnight and just started snowing again

Lucky you! I wouldn't have minded a nice 7 inches overnight too..
Snow should be prescribed on the NHS - been a long time since I've seen so many smily people on the streets. Long live the snowmen!!

I log in about 7:30 am and spend most of day on SH forums and sometimes chatrooms. I work from home and have a lot of spare time but can't go anywhere cos it's a shop. Usually stay on until about 11pm chatting. Yep think I'm addicted too redface

You do realise I'm now never going to be able to go to a post office again without wondering what the person behind the counter is REALLY looking at on their screen, don't you?
Top deck of a night bus
In hotel room (silently) where parents also sleeping
On phone to partner's mother (well, he shouldn't have answered the phone as we were about to be busy!)
Top of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris (nice view)
Against a palm tree in Goa (Don't Do This!!! Bark burn and mosquitoes do not add to the experience)
Miscellaneous alleyways, fields, gardens, towpaths...
Beds are good too

Merengue.
The hard variety... it's just wrong that it tastes that nice, but is like eating plasterboard.

It improves if you hack it up and mix it with whipped cream and preserved ginger in syrup - mmmmm.
Had to say that to help me recover from the thought of my most hated thing - drool and snot and the sound of rattly snotty sniffing. I could NEVER be a mother, as I have a complete mucous phobia!
And for those of you stuck at home due to transport troubles, have a peek at the first few minutes of this film - Snow (1963)
I can't offer flowers and cards like the others - but happy birthday!
Couple of sacks of coal a week in winter, free logs in summer if it's chilly. Minimal electric. Very cheap. If rather small. But I love it. A solid fuel stove takes care of most food waste too.
