My WLTM list's sooo long - too many glimpses of lovely and interesting people on here. Can't wait till Wigan to meet a few, at least.
Who I WOULD like to meet (or see from a distance) is some of the weirder profile-less cam-wankers who whisper or communicate in grunts. Just to see if they actually seem vaguely normal in real life. And to find out if they ever get any results from their efforts. Most intriguing
I'm often accosted and asked to take pics and I like doing it. I must have 'former tour guide' vibes still coming off me! Mind you, people seem to approach me for directions a lot too - maybe we're just smily and approachable peeps!
Rarely get others to take pics for me though.
I enjoy giving and receiving attention to/from everyone, male or female! And I often give compliments (not come-ons, just compliments)to complete strangers in the street if it seems right, which sometimes throws people a bit. Trouble is, if I really DO fancy someone I'm completely rubbish at flirting, or accepting compliments, and turn into a gauche fourteen year old.
Oh Jiggle, how sweet of you... You shouldn't have!
How are us singlies going to keep up the bah-humbug-hate-all-that-mushy-stuff 'front' with comments like that, Lost? You've got me feeling all sentimental. You lucky couple!
This is fun! If a tad scary. Don't try it with a photo where you're wearing glasses though. I might load my Botticelli later once the paint's dry
I'm feeling cold and grumpy and overworked. But then I remember the naughty texts and spontaneous visit of this morning and feel all tingly again... (is tingly a mood?)
Condolences Sassy - anyone who nurses deserves huge respect yet you often get forgotten when the emotional times come. Hugs.
I'm guessing if we're in bold we're confirmed. I'm not in bold but I'm definitely coming. Looking forward to my first munch!
Happy smily mood today. All day.
Top deck of a night bus
In hotel room (silently) where parents also sleeping
On phone to partner's mother (well, he shouldn't have answered the phone as we were about to be busy!)
Top of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris (nice view)
Against a palm tree in Goa (Don't Do This!!! Bark burn and mosquitoes do not add to the experience)
Miscellaneous alleyways, fields, gardens, towpaths...
Beds are good too
He was only pretending to be deaf and blind, you know....
Making snowpeople!!
Winter is fun!
And for those of you stuck at home due to transport troubles, have a peek at the first few minutes of this film - Snow (1963)
I can't offer flowers and cards like the others - but happy birthday!
Couple of sacks of coal a week in winter, free logs in summer if it's chilly. Minimal electric. Very cheap. If rather small. But I love it. A solid fuel stove takes care of most food waste too.
