You have summed the naturist ideal up perfectly in your last paragraph. The most wonderful naturist experience that we had was at TB in West Wales after being told that I had to undergo major surgery. The out of season visit meant that we were just about the only ones there. The owner had brought in cattle to graze the grass. With our daughter in the pushchair and toddler son we walked around the lagoon area. Cattle are very inquisitive and it wasn't long before we were surrounded and they were walking beside us. Coming from a farming background we had no fears of the cattle and but it was the most amazing 'back to nature' experience and one we'll never forget.

For us Benidorm is getting better. The last one of the last series was hilarious and the new one is starting out the same way. OK the plots are pretty thin but its a bit of an adult romp especially with the swinger sex-mad couple. It's a send-up of Brits abroad as well.

Trying to work out the posting but if I have it right the couple in question were only being up-front about their activities. For many people naturism is a way of life. Many children (as were ours) are raised within the safety of the naturist movement. Many naturists would be liberal in terms of no clothes worn but would baulk at the prospect of anything else happening. Swinging does go on at naturist venues but it is done discreetly. Really it is a case of some do, some don't. Many textiles confuse the two and wrongly assume that all naturists are in and out of eachother's beds.

Hi all,
Surprise surprise! Had a visit from Aldi's Area Manager this afternoon. Very appologetic for the way we had been treated. Apparently they have not done too well in a survey on customer service and are trying to rectify the position. Apparently it is 'company policy' to ask the customer to use the shelves but not at the expense of upsetting the customer. Ears have been bent so we will see how things go on Saturday.

The potential back-up is not really the issue here. If the items were scanned at a sensible speed then we could more than keep up. The only sorting that we do where we can is fruit and veg in one bag, fridge/deep freeze items in another and the rest in can we stick to this as to speed things up anything usually goes anywhere so that we can get away as soon as possible. If anyone behind us has only a couple of items we always let them through in front. Provided that you are able to shift the stuff quickly why should packing at the till take any longer? Items are unloaded onto the conveyor with things like eggs and bread last so that they do not get damaged.
The issue here is the bad attitude of the till operator in speeding up the items going across the scanner and the manner of her warning. Nothing would have given me greater pleasure than to unload what we had already packed to empty our Tesco bags and go out with an empty trolley to get our pound back. But as with most things you don't think of it at the time.

Anyone had any experience from any of the main supermarkets asking you to go to a nearby shelf to pack your bag instead of in the trolley? Won't mention the supermarket but you do not have to go very far into the alphabet to find the first letter. The operator in Bridgend was literally throwing the items across the scanner. Even by putting the goods in the trolley my daughter and I would not have been able to keep up. She said in a distinctly unfriendly voice, "You'll have to pack quicker than that or we'll ask you to use one of the shelves".
I replied that I had "no intention of packing our stuff twice".

Does 'company policy' extend to the pressurization and humiliation of less agile and more pensionable customers as well wishing to do the same

Don't know if its been broached before and is slightly connected with a couple of the current threads. Perhaps this is more for the ladies as I think I can guess the answer from the guys. Most DLSR's should have a connection for a cable and release switch. The cable or radio signal will allow operation at 3-5m or more will allow you 'both' to be in the picture. The camera will undoubtedly have a timer but this will be useless for more intimate photos.

We have found this with Madame Smooth's mastectomy, in short no-one wants to know. I imagine that it is much the same in the single-guy area. As for thinking that naturists are associated with swingers. Hi, there are a number of points in your reply I'd like to try and answer.
First of all about a guy getting a stiffy....it does not happen. There are really three things that can result in a hard-on, playing with yourself, watching a fem acting provocatively or seeing a fem in sexy underwear. Seeing the female body is rarely enough
to do it. We are bombarded by media pics of beautiful bodies but the reality is that ordinary 'family' women are rarely in the same league. Its no different to your first time on a topless beach. Popeyed for a few minutes but once you've seen 50 you've seen 'em all! A naked female body in a naturist environment is not sexually arousing.
The equation that naturists = swingers, orgies etc is largely a myth perpetrated and kept alive by the tabloid newspapers and 'dirty postcard' mentality. In the days when 'dirty postcards were at their height perhaps a quarter of them featured the 'nudist colony' in some way....they didn't know any different!
As to voyeurism, I suppose we all are in a small way. If a naturist says they don't look then he/she is a liar. The difference is that there will be no arousal from it. My understanding of a voyeur is someone who watches others indulging in a sexual activity without being seen. Well, you are being seen and they are giving you a look as well, but that's where it stops.
As to sporting activities, there are many sports available to naturist sites and if any floppy bits oscillate (not going to say "swing") in the course of it so be it! The watching/playing of the game is more important.

We have been naturists for about 18 years and are adamantly behind the benefits of naturism and the freedom and benefits it brings. Both our children were brought up in the trusted and safe naturism environment until the time when they became conscious about their bodys. Both have been with us on holidays to the site in West Wales since but have not gone 'nat'.
We would be very naive to try and say that swinging does not happen even at the most 'strict' sites. We have done it ourselves on two occasions with a couple that we met
off-site. Because of the presence of children any activity has to be done with the utmost discretion so as not to offend those naturists who genuinely do not swing and protect the safe name of the establishment.
As has been mentioned it is a perfectly normal thing to walk around and chat to people you've never seen before but it is however a little disturbing when you find yourself in the shower and some woman joins you only a couple of feet away!!!!!! Not under the same shower head I might say !!!!
We are not models by any description and I have an ileostomy bag and Madame Smooth a mastectomy. She went 'nat' for the first time with it this year and it was a tremendous boost to her confidence. We have never encountered any adverse comment about the blows Mother Nature has dealt us.

Hs anyone noticed that some free to air channels have gone off air today and there is poor reception on some. Asume its a snow related problem. Is it only in South Wales or more widespread?
The channels are 11,19,25,29,32,37,44. These show a 'no signal'. Some others are just a black screen.

Is anyone like us shocked at the increase in prices being asked for fresh christmas trees this year? There seems to be a bit of variation in prices in the Bridgend Mid Glam area. One major DIY group is charging £30-50 for 6 to 8 foot trees, a street trader 30-36 and a well-known farm/country shop up to £52. Its a lot of money for a couple of weeks and then throw it away after. Are you paying these prices?

It has to be comfortable for the wearer. This straps can be uncomfortable especially if you have to adjust them up uite tight to prevent the 'cock' drooping. Wider straps are more comfortable. Just had one through from Bondara. Excellent service and very reasonable price. Not on commission....honest!!!!
